For Vijay, the work had always been simple: make it usable, make it reachable, and keep it close to the people who need it most.

They faced obstacles. Devanagari’s conjunct consonants and matras were tricky; mapping them to Roman sequences without creating ambiguity meant building rules and exceptions.
