If you are on a lower firmware, download the Official Firmware (OFW) 6.61 update file ( EBOOT.PBP ) from a trusted homebrew archive.
To verify the installation, go to > System Settings > System Information . Your system software should now display 6.61 PRO-C2 . Step 5: Temporary vs. Permanent CFW
The PRO-C2 firmware was built upon the foundation of the M33 firmware by Dark_AleX & Team M33 and inherits its stability and efficiency. It's compatible with the vast majority of PSP models, including the original PSP-1000 "Fat," the PSP-2000 "Slim," the PSP-3000 "Brite," the PSP Go, and even the PSP Street (E1000) model.
Download the official (if your console is not already on 6.61). Step 2: Preparing the Memory Card Connect your PSP to your PC using the USB cable. On your PSP, navigate to Settings > USB Connection . Open the PSP drive on your computer.
Is there a permanent patch for 6.61 CFW?
Before you start, ensure you have the following:
