Follow these steps to build an interactive tracker that minimizes human error during the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) cycle. Step 1: Set Up the 18 Elements List the 18 standard AIAG elements down the first column: (Advantages) | PPAP Element | Req'd for Level 3
If an element is not applicable (such as a DFMEA for a build-to-print supplier), do not leave it blank. Mark it explicitly as "N/A" and add a note explaining why (e.g., "Supplier is not design responsible" ). Blank cells look like forgotten tasks to a customer auditor.
