Never rely solely on wire color. Suzuki frequently changed wire insulation stripes mid-generation. Test your +B and Ground pins with a digital multimeter before plugging in the ECU.
If you have a K6A ECU in hand, here’s how to build a verified pinout:
Pro tip: The K6A uses a wasted spark system. On an aftermarket ECU, you can fire coils in sequence by configuring two ignition outputs. suzuki k6a engine ecu pinout high quality

He obtained a wiring diagram of the ECU and began to meticulously document each pin's function. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, as Alex painstakingly created a comprehensive map of the ECU pinout. His workshop became a makeshift laboratory, with wires, multimeters, and diagnostic tools strewn about.
One day, a customer brought in his Suzuki Jimny, equipped with the renowned K6A engine. The owner wanted to extract more power from his vehicle, but the standard ECU settings were holding him back. Alex, determined to help his customer achieve his goal, decided to dive into the world of engine tuning. | Pin # | Signal Name | Description
Main ground wires bolted directly to the engine block or chassis. 2. Primary Engine Inputs (Sensors)
: Wire the ECU fuel pump output to trigger a standard 4-pin automotive relay.
:
Do not splice sensor ground wires ( E2 ) into main chassis ground wires ( E1 ). Splicing them together introduces electrical "noise" from the alternator, causing erratic sensor readings and poor engine performance.
Uses a white/black twisted pair. White is the signal (Pin 16), and Black is the sensor ground (Pin 30).
